It's a like UK/US english but much easier to detect because they(BR) use many different words and the way the use pronouns is a clear giveaway.
Você (you) is only used on a formal setting, by wannabe "posh" people or by brazilans. On a place like here you would address to me by Tu (you).
On a job interview, court hearing or doctor appointment you would use você.
Besides the situations above you only use você if you were a retarded school girl trying to sound even more retarded by speaking with brazilian accent or if you were trying hard to sound like some obnoxious gay person.
