>save money while living with parents for a few years
>gain a twitter following of a few thousand in the mean time
>buy 5 acres of land in a rural area that's 30min to 1 hour outside a (semi) urban center
>build a minimal Ted K style cabin with a woodstove
>buy solar panels for electricity, dig a well
>pay for unlimited LTE internet
>cover expenses (groceries, data bill, taxes) with a part time wagie job in the closest urban center
>reduce food costs with a garden, pickling for the winter, and trapping/hunting
>continue growing my twitter following, continue blogging and writing, eventually publish my works and sell my art for some extra cash
I figure altogether I can get my annual expenses (food, phone bill, car insurance, taxes, other) down to under 10000 a year if I get good enough at growing my own food. When I mention it to people they convince me its delusional, but how delusional is it really?
