Fire plough is the best method, right?

I've recently taught myself how to start a fire with this method. And I'm wondering if there is any point in learning the hand drill method.
I've been able to get an ember from Aspen, juniper, and spruce.

Learn bow drill just in case and use a fire steel, match or lighter when not larping.
Btw there's nothing to learn about hand drill.

You can use tree bark, grasses and tree saplings for hand drill but you need solid wood for plough.

I've seen a guy on the internet who punched himself in the balls all his life until his balls hardened and could feel no pain. I guess to him it was worth it.

jokes aside i go flint and steel when I feel like larping, but I also learned the bow-drill, like >>1783023 says, superior to all other friction methods
