Did find a big paddle/shovel type thing that I suspect was from an iron foundry that was there around 1900s. Was cleaning it up in my garden, but 1 night/morning some pikeys must have taken it for scrap as it vanished.
Did find an old handmade nail from some train tracks. Gave that to my mates son though.
Looking to get down again next week to the same spot, but will be proper fishing as well as throwing the magnet about.
