I have to be careful when taking my 6" knife out innawoods, because if I forget about it in the car, then nip to the shops and get caught with it im fucked (you need a "good reason to carry any fixed blade in public").
So as you can imagine, the firearms laws are just as tight. Handguns are outlawed completely. Best I could do would be a shotgun, deer hunting rifle, air rifle or crossbow. And if I was caught LARPing in some restricted area with any weapon at all, I'd be fucked completely.
