We originally lost a couple guys in 2015 i think when gay leaders were allowed in, and the death nail was the girls. A couple of my younger friends that I grew up with and lead dropped out when they were well onto their way to eagle rather than find another troop, including the scoutmasters 2 sons. All of the new rules and regulations that all the leaders had to learn because of the girls were very annoying and stringent, and would make camping in a mix gender troop nearly impossible, especially high adventure stuff. How the fuck are you gonna have seperate showers, bathrooms and 200ft spacing in campsites on a mountaintop or in a boat? My local council even said they will not force troops to accept girls, and my troop would not do it either with support of our charter organization, but that still didnt save us. At this rate, I would not put my son into scouting
