Just to elaborate:
>Destroys young trees
>Creates dangerous underwater logs that capsize floaties and turn over boats
>Can drown people under the brush
>When the tree breaks during the swing it can easily trap the jumper underwater
>Creates a huge hassle for River rangers on clean up.
>Dumb kids flip and break their necks and drown
>More dumb kids get rope burn and drown
>Even more dumb kids noose themselves on the rope, then fall to the water and drown

People that make and use these things are no joke, contributors to people's deaths and should feel bad.

Are you aware that, from the conservationist point of view, these trees make excellent cover for many fish and other water animals to hide and breed in?

me and my retarded drug addict friend in high school made one of these that was on the side of a sttep incline right next to the lake, plus we made a platform like 15f off the incline in the trees, as well, so the part where you start the swing from was like 50ft above the lake, and the first time i tried it, i just ended up belly-flopping my balls on the water at full force because the rope was too long (because it had to be that long to grab it from the platform.)
