back when the Labor govt was in power they were offering $5000 something subsidies to install solar into your house so I jumped on that shit while I could.
Havent paid an electricity bill since and have so much positive credit with the power company now that even if I move house I probably wont have to pay a bill for a good few more years. It's also been great still having power when everyone else on the street has had a blackout.
Fuck the Liberals though, when they got in they didn't like the idea of people getting electricity for free so they slapped a $2 a day "connection fee" onto solar so they could still keep skimming some money off the top the greedy cunts.
