Debating on dating a trip in 2/3 weeks. Any suggestions? I know summer hiking isn't always ideal. I was thinking West Virginia or Arkansas. Hit me with your top summer locations.

Arkansas gets as a hot as nigger trying to read in the summer. Do a stint on the AT. I’d start at Clingmans Dome or something. Mount Mitchell would feel good as fuck due to the elevation.

Hey friend, do you mind taking a quick look at this route a friend and I are considering doing in a couple weeks. Route goes counterclockwise starting at Newfound Gap (green) and each red point is the campsite for the night.

I'm still not sure what's fully open in Great Smoky National Park and I have heard we have to reserve spots online ahead of time for the campsites.

I am pretty new to backpacking. Thanks in advance for any critques or tips.

All of Arkansas is wonderful in the summer as long as you're not white as a ghost or a pussy that has a heat stroke as soon as it hits 85+. Just got to make sure you don't spend too much time in direct sun and you'll be fine.
