I'm getting a new stove+set of casseroles for my backpacking trips.
I want to keep it light since I'm starting to think about being out for an entire week (off-trail).
My current set weighs about 2,1kg (4,7 lbs) with 0,5litres of etanol.
Is the pocketrocket trustworthy, even in windy, rainy and somewhat cold conditions? Are there any other minimalistic stoves which do a better job? Cannnister stove vs alcohol stove?
I'm currenty thinking about getting a mini-trangia for a set of casseroles+frying pan which only weighs 200 grams so I will probably cut the weight to 1/4 of my previous kitchen equipment.
