What does /out/ think of this guy? He's really concerned with all the people going missing and has some good /out/ tips. Also, any ideas why so many people disappear in national parks?

I definitely think he exaggerates a few things and comes to some strange conclusions but he is definitely on to something.

Having had a few very very very strange experiences in the woods myself there is definitely something weird going on out there. I tend to believe in Jacques Vallee's theories on ultraterrestrial "earth spirits" which tie together fae, demons, alien abductions, and other bizarre tales from across history into one coherent phenomenon.

Magonia is the only book I've read from Vallee but I can also highly recommend John Keel's Mothman Prophecies and The Eighth Tower.

I was never really interested in this kind of stuff until I had a series of very strange experiences while camping, including an encounter with a being and a UFO sighting, which I then connected to a few very weird memories from my childhood. This world is much stranger and more complex than we can ever understand.

Anyway this is starting to veer into /x/ territory so I won't go on, just be careful out there folks and respect the world around you.

I think there's a few cases that do seem pretty unusual, but when looking through thousands of cases across the country you're bound to run into some just weird facts that simply are just weird and don't mean anything
