Just have faith that they follow the basic regulations - no shooting over roads/trails/rivers/bodies of water, because why wouldn't they.
Also had an experience this winter where hunters were shooting into a hill a couple of hundred feet below me. Not sure of the safety but it seems really really unlikely to get hurt.
