Just got back into bass fishing, any tips i should know to be more successful?

What's your goal? I can catch most catfish and bass on the same lures, I'm picking some up tomorrow since I lost all of mine (they start to break after 3-4 catches) but they're cheap as shit and are basically little rubber swimbait lures with a barbed back hook.

Fish are assholes. Also it's a lot more quick and a lot less painful if I kill them than if a snake or osprey does. Fish don't die from old age in the wild mane.

Get a boat with a fish finder.

I hate lake fishing from the shore, ponds or whatever.

If you can, find some local streams or rivers. Use Mepps Black Fury spinners and just worms.
