>>1801192I lived there for 3 years as a park employee so I had cheap housing. Honestly Jackson would be a great town if you removed all the NIMBY billionaires. The bars are fun, they’ve got great festivals, Teton county fair is a good time, there are some really great restaurants and breweries, they have a really awesome bike trail that goes from the park through the town, and to the ski resort. You’re also smack dab in the middle of some of the prettiest country in the US where there’s almost too much to do. Kayaking, mountaineering, white water rafting, rock climbing, hiking, backpacking, hunting, skiing, etc. Its a magical place, that’s just way too expensive to live in for most people. Definitely worth a visit though and some of the surrounding communities are really nice.
