I just got finished fishing in a river, so I picked up the canoe to walk back to my house but while lifting I slipped on ice and dislocated my knee. I called the ambulance and they took me to the hospitable and fixed my knee. Didn't hurt as much as I though it would though.

Friend took the metal guard off of fan when we were like 14 after we had just gotten done fishing. Sitting there high as fuck staring at the spinning blades. Some how some 5lb fishing line got sucked into it and made all these trippy patterns for us to stare at. Friend sticks his finger in it. When I was 4 or 5-years-old, my grandparents had a dock and lived right on the water, and I would fish from it constantly. It was Red Tide season, and I had scooped up a dead Catfish and set it on the dock. I wasn't paying attention, and I ended up stepping on it, and the barb lodged itself in the side of my foot. I was on the dock screaming and crying before my dad ran out to pull it out, which I still remember the sound it made as he tore it out from my foot. Went to the hospital immediately afterwards. Ever since then though, I don't think my foot ever fully healed, and my left foot has plantar fasciitis. I really ought to get it scanned one day.

When I was like 7 or 8 I was fishing some swampy pond with my brother. I got a bite and set the hook a little too hard. I actually had caught a frog and the hook went theough the top of it's mouth and out it's eyeball. I started freaking out, the frog was jumping all over the place, blood splatter on the rocks, my bro stepped in and mercy killed the frog. This is actually common, the first time I went fishing, I had this light set up and was catching bluegills at the local pond, then out of nowhere I feel a bite and the thing pulls hard, and before I know it the hook flew from like 20 feet away and got hooked on my hat, scary stuff.
