What is the best lightweight camping chair?

Just want something I can sit my ass on while float fishing a river near me, but it's quite a walk to get to it.

I put one of these REI nuthugger stools on my fishing backpack and it works well for me, only been using it for about 9 months though, so not sure about long-term durability.

I have one of these and it's not bad, folds up really small and weights 1.3lb according to what I see online. Only downside is a 200lb weight limit so big guys need not apply.

There's a folding stool that can hold 650 lbs. Not quite enough for you, OP, but it's the closest I can think of. Just search Amazon for "diabetes camp folding stool"

I used something like picrel until I sat I sat straight through it because the fabric was super old, definitely gonna get another. Everyone I liked with thought it was completely unnecessary, until we get to camp and everything is dewy, then they all wish they brought one.

I just got the knock off version of the helinox chair (saved like $70, doing that). I was actually pleasantly surprised with the quality. Packs down small enough to comfortably fit in my backpack

Crazy Creek Hexlite. Lightweight, roll up chair you can stash on/in a pack, and it unclips to a 3/4 sleeping mat. I understand people use them under air mattresses as extra padding/backup for leaks

Just purchased a rip off of the big agness helinox, $30 on Amazon. It’s comfortable and light enough to pack along on shorter trips unless you’re an ounce-counter. Would recommend

I’m not much of a fisherman. But good for fishing as in portable/comfortable? Then sure. It is a tad small, I’m 6’ 185, and it fits me pretty well. If you’re any bigger it might start to get a bit cramped. It feels like sitting in one of those fold up lawn chairs, because that’s basically what it is. I got the high back version specifically for leaning back and relaxing. If you’re looking to sit upright while having some back support, I wouldn’t recommend it. But they also have a version with a much smaller back. Overall a very comfy chair for my needs.
