>>1811447I guess if the pot is big enough to live in, yeah.
Ive dreamed of doing this sort of thing and converting an industrial shipping container into a little guest house to live in while I make the real house.
Good luck with this project, sounds amazing.
>>1811425I find it comforting to sleep with my axe knife and bear spray within reach of my sleeping bag. Maybe do the same?
Also last time I went camping I set up a trip line around the perimeter with cans(the idea being that they would alert me to approaching humans/animals)
>>1811627200 bucks should get you something really nice, camping is a poor Mans hobby and more money just means more luxury.
You could get by on 100 bucks worth of gear, the only difference is how long it will last.
>>1811652Dude just throw a sleeping bag(or blankets)
in your school pack, grab a tarp and some rope and go /out/
>>1812067It would help to attach it to somethjng buoyant(a log or whatever)
(Sry if stating the obvious)
A heavy pack like that could be very difficult to swim any significant distance with, have you ever gone swimming fully clothed?
>>1812198It is light, but a bit bulky(which is par for the course with a foam pad)
>>1812236I would run it through the dryer(idk if that is bad for wool) or leave it in the sun covered in baking soda.
