The latter involved placing a glass window at the top, installing the stove/pipe, placing felt insulation around the ger, and sometimes adding a little vestibule in the front which also acts as a freezer for food.
It gets hot af in them even with the temp hovering -30. The felt and coal/dung/wood stove really make a difference
