Does anyone carry a short rod when they go back packing? I know the weight of a fishing rod is fairly negligible but I feel bad about beating the shit out of one of my $80 rod and reels through the bush. These ones cast are ovbiously going to be much worse but i think mine gets the job done, and if i destroy it, its only $15. I keep one in my truck for impromptu fishing. It even usually comes with me when i go biking and feel the urge to spend 15 mins fishing. theyre very easy to strap to a pack and that catfish and carp guy did a test of this and the zebco version (original) and they both held a shit ton of weight. I recommend 10/10
