Sorry bro, I don’t know about Canada but even Mexico still has pristine tropical beaches. You can’t go anywhere on the US coast that isn’t jam packed with people. Try our northern or southern neighbors.

So far it kinda sucks. I had to venture into some little forest that’s starting to be built into in order to get away and can still hear the construction. I slept well but now I have to search for a beach that has no people, phone service and is close to the parking lot. Dealing with fucking traffic is going to be a nightmare

Your question covers my overseas experience very well, and I’ve traveled a lot. UK for example. You know exactly where the track is, because it’s all open farmland, and you can see a line of people the whole way along the route like lemmings.
Here? I can drive 15min and walk for 1-7 days confident there’s about a 20% chance of meeting 1-2 people after getting 1hr in. God I love it here.

Theres a beach near Sandlake immediately south of Cape Lookout that really only gets used by the boyscout camp nearby. Also look around the oregon dunes. Beaches are popular, but they're also enormous, walk far enough from a parking lot and you'll be alone at most any of them

There are still 697,681 people living in the coastal counties though (within 1 hr of the beach). And all the big population centers are not much more than an hour drive away from the beach as well. People don't go to it as often in Oregon because the water is cold (colder than even parts of WA and N. CA due to unique strong currents off the coast), it's too windy, or they got better things to do like getting high.
