I've done all the ones in New Norfolk and some near Murpheys flat.

There's some absolutely beautiful places at Mt Field and some killer caches too going by the logs and photos.

I'm from the north west of the state, I haven't had the time to get some of the southerly ones but I've got most of the North coast's and around down to St. Helens.

Sweet. I'm actually from Brisbane, I've got family in New Norfolk I occasionally visit. They're hiked Mt Field a couple of times, its a really nice place apparently.

Another Brisbanefag here. I went out looking for my first cache last night, but didn't find anything, going to try again when its a bit brighter.

How well hidden are these caches usually?

Depends on the cacher and location. Is it a micro? Is it in the woods? Was there a clue? Sometimes if you read the logs someone yaps about where it might be.
Try in the day. It's hard to give advice without any details of the cache, and I can only assume that you won't mention what specific cache it was since you live around it.

Since the clue highlights the name "troll" and there is a bridge there, I would imagine (its a small tin of some sort, probably smaller than the size of a deck of cards) it is located under the bridge, wedged in somewhere.
