that pic is photoshopped btw. he was at a lodge/cabin and was annoyed by the snoring of the other people so he camped outside in a tent. people heard his screaming at 4am and they went out to see a bear attacking the tent. they tried to scare it way but it dragged him into the woods.

Unless you also have bear spray you’re fucked. Those things run as fast as horses. Maybe by some miracle you cut your way out of the tent fast enough and the bear gets tangled up in it as you climb out and run.

10mm with the right loads is probably your best bet for bear if you can’t be fucked to spring for something bigger. Those big revolvers are nice but fuck you if you miss or don’t even get the shot off trying to get some like a 454 out. 9mm is dog shit for bear unless all you have around are little blacks or something.
