I haven't been camping since I was about 10 years old. I wanted to try camping in the woods with my girlfriend. For the first time, I thought we could just go for one night, about an hour outside the city, somewhere in the forest.
I'll need a tent and a sleeping bag. The rest of the things I can take with.
How do I pick a tent? I'm in Russia and there are lots of shitty options for about $50. I thought of maybe just buying a Naturehike tent or Lanshan 2 off Ali Express, because I read the quality is decent for the price.
For a sleeping bag, I would just need something that is good to about 5 degrees Celsius at night. Any colder than that, and I doubt we would go.
It seems the tent is much more important than the sleeping bag. Am I correct in that thinking?
