>>1823792Yeah I hear Eastern Montana sucks ass and the best part of the state is in the West. Part of what turns me off about Montana though is exactly that the taxes are high and property values are skyrocketing as californians are infesting everywhere of value in this god forsaken continent. If i'm dropping a large sum of money on a nice rustic house, I'm going to want hopefully some waterfront and woods around me. Plus side for Montana is that most of the state is public land which means I just need enough woods for a little privacy and can fuck off to public land for the rest. Although Alaska also has this going for it, albeit in even more extreme cold.
>>1823789Valid. Just about finding a nice mix between hunting opportunity, reasonably priced property, and opportunity to isolate for extended periods of time.
>>1823833I've only been to Colorado twice, both just to ski, but it seems like recently the state has been taking a general turn for the worse as more and more people are flooding in. Montana does seem super appealing though. It also helps that in Montana, if I DO happen to see people, they're more likely decent /out/ people rather than people blaring Juice Wrld on the trail.
>>1823848I was thinking that if it was deep Alaska, I may not stay there the entire year as the endless winter sets in. Unironically best plan may be to have a small property in both Alaska and Montana to migrate in between with the seasons.
>>1823935No, just WI here. Not my fault you can't handle booze, puritan.
