yeah, the only places are Scandinavia, Carpathians or far Eastern Europe, all at least 3000km away from me, i'd spend as much time getting there as walking
i'll probably end up doing that, its just insanely annoying how infected this place is with humans when its fucking impossible to escape them for at least 24 hours

This lol, at one point it was a literal 1-day hike to reach the closest Woolies. Aus is great for camping and general /out/, but everything is super spaced out and public transport is shit. So there's a small trade off.

Europe is great. But living in Cuckland, aka Germany, doesn't help for /out/.
Try Balkans, Scandinavia, Carpates, Eastern Europe, even Pyrinees, Alps, Central Spain.
Just do live in Germany, UK, BENELUX, or nearby.

Seems like you are mentioning just good sites to visit, but what i mean is true wilderness for miles and miles. Pyrenees or Alps are beautiful but you cannot walk two days without encountering any village there, same with Spain, Scotland or Balkans (if there are some nature reserves i dont know about, please do tell)

Once you cross into the Cairngorms it gets pretty wild. There are tourists up until about Ben Macdui and Loch Avon (assuming you start at Glenmore), but beyond that you're unlikely to meet anyone, and you can wander for days in those valleys.
There are also pretty vast reacts of Highlands, like those surrounding Loch Mullardoch and Loch Monar. Not to mention the many barely inhabited islands like Rùm. But yes you're right, Scandi is the ultimate European /out/ in my opinion, nothing else really compares.

If you are into /out/ with so much of hiking you could try ticino in Switzerland for it has some really remote valleys, "Graubünden"(SUI) offers the same

I don't know much about the case, but just assume he was actually hunting his food, what would happen if he didn't resist? They would take away his bow and they would jail him for killing animals, just because he wanted to live naturalistically.

I understand it, don't get me wrong, we aren't allowed to hunt animals or carry weapons for a reason, but there is just something incredibly sad about a man trying to live naturalistically ending up in being hunted down, fined and jailed.

Scotland has the largest wilderness in western Europe. You could easily walk for days in the Northwest Highlands without passing any human settlement or road. Definitely not Scandi levels of wild but still severely underrated.
