Dried meat, salted meat, salted cheese, potatoes, and my foraging notebook for local berries and vegetables.
I bring a dutch oven that I put with the rest of my gear in the cart. Really all you need if you aren't a low weight low dragfag

Fajitas my man. I carry a large cast iron pan, get that fucker hot on the fire, then fry everything for just a couple of minutes. Slap a can of beans on the fire to heat up, toss some tortillas in the pan once the chiken and vegetables are out to get just a bit of toastyness and chicken fat on them. Squeeze a lime over it, and bam. Quick,tasty, easy meal.

To be fair I do bring a decent amount of cookware. I'm not going anywhere too far off the grid.

just had a cooler with ice in it. also had a beer cooler. I was only there for 2 days so it was fine. just stick it all in ziploc bags

I live in a pretty cool climate.
My favourite thing is to vacuum seal a couple of steaks and bacon, wrap up some eggs, fresh veggies, and head into a 6 day trail from the end 90% of people finish at. Add asparagus, rock salt and blue cheese for extra insult
Best meal you’ve ever had. .
- 1 pot for water
- 1 steaming tray
- 1 frying pan
- 1 grill tray for asparagus if feeling insulting.
