America is a good country in terms of its wonderful wildlife, landscape, resources, and small pockets of responsible, hard working, and educated citizens. It is NOT the land of the free and it has certainly turned into a cesspool over the past 70 years. I honestly don't know what else you could possibly believe is better about it. (The UK is even more shit than the US, so you are right on that count)
