Even if you do not think it will help climate change, native trees will support lower trophic levels like insects who are needed to support the higher trophic levels that will suffer as a result of climate change.

Stop being such a demoralizing brainlet. Planting native trees and shrubs is literally the most viable way to support nature in current year.

Trees require water to live, quite a lot actually, thst water comes from rain, from rivers or subterranean water circulation.
The area where I live in has no major rivers and the underground waters are already over exploited by farming, meaning that the tree would risk receiving not enough water

No shit but I have never heard of trees having a sizeable impact on a regions water table. In fact I have heard the opposite due to their impact on run-off and regional climate. But I'll bet that's all highly dependent on types of trees and region. Maybe it makes a difference in a desert.

If anything is causing Anthropogenic climate change it's the thousands of large cities in the world. Yet rural people are painted as not respecting nature.

China messed up their regional watertable by planting an assload of trees in a region called Loess plateau, it caused a reduction of water availability up to 85% but I can't remember the correct numbers
