>>1833557I don't know if you have a preference on length so I'll just list everything
>Shimano SLX Spinning Rod 7' Med Lt $100Extra Fast 1/16-5/16oz lure rating (this is closer to light but still fine for finesse)
>Shimano Intenza Spinning Rod 7' Med Lt $130Extra Fast 1/8-1/2oz lure rating (the most "true to size" ML lure rating imo)
>Shimano Curado Spinning Rod 6'10" Med Lt $160Extra Fast 1/16-5/16oz lure rating but also over your budget
I own this rod and think it is highly sensitive and although it sounds flimsy I have caught LMB upwards of 5lbs on it, just make sure your drag isn't set too heavy on your reel.
>St. Croix Mojo Bass Spinning Rod 6'10" Med Lt $140>St. Croix Mojo Bass Spin Rod 7'6" Med Lt $150Extra Fast 1/8-1/2oz lure rating
*St. Croix blanks are a little slower than advertised so these will be more like a Fast than an Extra Fast*
>Daiwa Tatula Spinning Rod 6'10" MediumExtra Fast 1/16-3/8oz lure rating making it more like a ML than a M
If I were to buy another Extra Fast finesse rod right now I think I would choose between the Daiwa Tatula or the Shimano Intenza.
The Tatula's biggest strengths are being rated to cast all the way don't to 1/16oz lures, and it it has a longer handle in front of the reel seat which is very comfy to have. The Intenza's biggest strengths are that it has the 1/8-1/2 rating which is very broad so it is going to be more of a do it all workhorse.
