I have been trying traditional archery for a bit over a month now. So far so good. A bit more tuning and I will be ready for hunting season.

Good stuff, are you shooting recurve? I was big into it when I was younger, now I'm contemplating getting a compound for hunting.

I did the opposite, I started with the self bow, recurve etc then years later managed to get a hoyt compound bow and it was like shooting a rifle in comparison, so now years later I'm back to the recurve and self bows also cross bows.

You can only move the nock point so many times anon. The struggle stick is pretty basic.

I love compound. I have a recurve and a traditional horse bow. I love all my bows but my compound gets meat on the freezer before my gun buddies do.

Not gonna lie I practiced my archery for about 6 months before I was told I need to keep my elbow at ear level.
Before I kept that shit all wonky and never could shoot consistently at the range, odly enough though I could nail a boar under pressure my first jig
