Hoh River Crystal Glory Hole

anon posted this 2 days ago but stopped responding to inquiries. I found it very interesting and decided to compile what was available in hopes someone else was aware of it and had additional photos / videos. Thanks!

Notice there is none of the stuff where the sun would hit it. Its just to the sides of the entrance where the sun can't get to it, and thus unmelted.

We found one probably 2 or 3 years ago after the original post a while ago. I was just walking down the hill and saw the top of the opening covered and I dug it out. What it isn't is ice or a volcano cavern or anything else I have ever seen. It was a tube and it was lined with something that my leatherman bounced off of. I carry an old iphone that just has MotionX and a bunch of survival pdf's and when I went to take a pic of it, just in case, the phone was dead with an overheat warning, it had a little red thermometer. I have never had that happen. It's kinda neat but the threads devolve into "I know what it is even though I have never been there"

As the glacier cuts through the valley all the debris from the valley walls covers the glacier so it looks like a big gravel pile. Summer heat, moving water and glacial movement make all kinds of holes, cracks, crevices etc.
That hole will be gone soon.
Its not crystal geode or some magical shit. Its a hole in some dirty ice.

OP here, I captured the images and video from an ayy lmao thread of /pol and thought it was pretty interesting. Whether its an ice hole or a portal to another dimension, still pretty neat. These images you've provided .. I'm fairly certain this is the same hold based on the surroundings and shape of the geography in the area / the hole itself. If you find that video please share it! Again, even if its just a little ice hole it has me very intrigued and I would like to compile any additional images and send them to my friend who's a geologist and works in the Washington area. Thank you!

If you still dont believe its not ice you can check this >>1835943 as you can see the ice on the right 3rd of the arch the grayish area. Hope that cures your autism
