There's lots of discussion here of out stuff to do west of the miss river but I see very little discussion here ever of awesome trails or other /out/ stuff to be found in the mountains of the east coast US.

On my last trip we stayed in Marlinton, WV and did the High Rocks trail to a nice view along the highland scenic highway, beartown boardwalk, cranberry bog boardwalk, and the falls of hills creek.

This next trip we are going to explore the Kumbrabow State Forest and the Holly River State Park.
