>always struggle when running
>shins start hurting after 2 miles or after running for 12 or so minutes
>change to new shoes after like 10 years of wearing the same beat to shit sneakers
>can go for an hour or 7 miles now after just a couple days of practice
Does gear play that much of a role? Also how do I keep improving?
My numbers are still rather poor for a runner but I'm feeling motivated as fuck and can see myself leaving the couch for good and training 5 days a week.
I'm also planing to move to trail running when my cardio gets better. Any advice is very much appreciated no matter how insignificant it may be.
