Also drive slow, obviously. If you try racing downhill on public land, someone might kick you of your bike.

I've had people walk or bike out in front of both my 4x4 and my dirtbike more than once, both on trails and on forest roads. Both vehicles have sportexhausts and are well into the 80-90dB range even at standstill, yet somehow, people seem not to notice.
