What are best socks for hiking & long trips?
I have a problem - I work where I tend to big machinery, it requires short, but frequent trips up and down a lot of stairs, all day.
I'm starting to get blisters and I wonder if it's because my socks are too thin.
My shoes are good (lets assume they are) and wore in, I assume I have a sock problem.
I dunno, should I wear those thic 100% wool socks mountaineers wear? Won't my feet cook in them (it's summer time)?
No names or brands pls, I dont live in US and probably don't have those here.
Just bare description of what proper hiking socks should be like.
