Multi-day backpackers: do you prefer ultraportable tents or a hammock configuration.

I've always used a hammock. They are lighter than any (affordable) tent, even with the rain fly and cord rig. They're also very comfortable and can be set up anywhere there are trees. The only advantage of a tent is seems is that they are better at temperature regulation and shielding the rain (duh).
