Did Washington once as part of the Presidential traverse. Kinda fun story behind it...
I was in New England with friends on a climbing trip and because I was single I was on Tinder. Matched with this cute girl who lived near Dartmouth College. Never thought I'd meet her, till we happened to stop near there on our way through. So I messaged her to meet us at a diner.
She turns up, we (there are six of us at this point) have en enjoyable lunch. Afterwards I'm like 'nice meeting you, bye!'
Fast forward four days. Friends and I are a few hours from driving to an airport outside of NY to fly back to UK and I think...huh...wonder if she's down for me to visit her for a few days. Message her, she's down. So I go to airport with friends, change my ticket, grab a hire car and motor north. I get to her place late, like 2am, down a plate of rice and sleep on her couch.
Wake up at 0700 and she drives us to the trailhead and we smash out the Presidential traverse. She was pretty fit but I do a lot of mountaineering and trail running, so I was totally find on this. Still pretty tired by the end though, it's a long day. Lots of vert.
We get a lift back to her car, get Chinese food on the way back, shower and fall asleep in her bed. We had been making out all day during the traverse.
Wake up and we bang. Pretty good, not gonna lie.
We head to Rumney and spend the day sport climbing. Back to hers, cook dinner and bang again.
Next day we wake up, bang (you get the idea) and I have to leave to catch my flight. Get back to UK and immediately leave on a trip with friends to the alps.
Saw her again, months later, when she visited me in the UK. She turned out to be less than trustworthy shall we say, but it's a good story and I thought /out/ might enjoy it.
