>>1870754Surprisingly based and redpilled. Im not some /pol/ fag dont get me wrong, but if you look up or hear about the CAF or read articles and shit you probably get an impression of liberal lgbtq racial friendliness and general pozzed-ness everywhere you go.
Maybe in a trade like human resources thats par for the course but im in a combat trade and most people are fairly conservative and those who arent are very tolerable. You still get your fair share of fuck tards and shitty people (Lazy retards who shouldnt have made it through basic, Women getting pushed through to meet a quota while cheating on their husbands with a new guy every week.)
But generally those people are weeded out, More so if you pick a good trade. We lucked out more then the states in some ways because our structuring is different, We get a lot of nco's and officers who are very competent and retain more people. Even at basic I met more guys than I could count who had been places we learned about in classes, Rwanda, Somalia, Yugoslavia, Serbia, Croatia, Mali, Afghanistan. Having an instructor or civilian casually drop that they had been any number of those places was wild, Even more so in the field when you'd see these guys move.
Ill never forget my platoon commander who was deployed to Rwanda in the 90's and did 3 deployments to afghanistan leading me and the other section leaders into the woods at night with no lights to scout out a postion to set up a fob.
Over 100 years of combined military science and training techniques drilled into an individual, Coupled with over 2 decades of real experience in the field is something to behold.
Leaf service is surprisingly based and they train you great if your in a combat trade. When I finished highschool I immediately started working full time to save for college, Layed off after a year, Lost a lot of savings in this time (Was also paying rent, Had to save to buy a car to get to a campus, no help from parents) 22 I said fuck it.
