Surprisingly I haven't had one burrow in but there are days I've walked 50 feet and pulled 6 off of me.
Ticks try to find a spot where they won't be noticed and pulled off like a on neck. (Think of deer, they'll use their teeth to get a tick). So generally ticks will crawl around you for awhile.
They still creep me out.
I find them on the couch after walks.
I have like 8 or 9 acres of grass within trees, property is terraced because its mostly hillside so mowing all of it is very time consuming.
