Need a good jacket recommendation for camping in places where it rains all the time and the temperature doesn't rise enough for shit to dry. Pic related is what I was wearing last few times and I got away with it until a really bad downpour which soaked me head to toe because I went above the "water resistance rating" apparently. So pls give me something that will keep me dry as long as I don't go for a swim.
Also any advice on further waterproofing would be appreciated, I wanted to get a lot of drybags but shit's heavy and expensive so just planning on rolling large chunks of my gear into double layered heavy duty garbage bags and hoping for the best if I get caught out in some monsoon tier rain.
