Now that lockdown is over, where is everyone headed to squeeze in an outing before the cold takes hold.

Some anon in the last thread said Scotland is being invaded by midges and to avoid going North, can anyone confirm? What are the best places in South of England or Wales to go wild camping. South Downs and New Forest are both shite. Thinking of heading to Snowdonia myself but the weather seems god-awful.
