So I've been an avid backpacker for my entire life and have recently been interested in bush craft/primitive outdoorsmenship and I was wonder where exactly are you allowed to practice building lean to shelters and what not? because a lot of bush craft also involves cutting down sapplings and small trees and I know you can't do that shit in most of the state parks around here, so if I'm a poorfag who doesn't own land and live in a shitty urbanite city in California, where the hell can I practice bush crafting?
