Surely gloves are actually kinda shit for climbing? Obviously the last thing you want is to try and pull yourself up on an awkward surface and your hand starts sliding out the glove a bit. Whenever I've done rock climbing, climbed trees or even just climbed tall wire fences and buildings I've always just went bare handed.

I used to climb barehanded but then I cut myself on a piece of glass and just went with the ones I linked before. I’ve had other gloves before but I’ve never had trouble with them slipping off.

I have these for rock climbing. I use them when belaying and handling ropes, not for actually climbing. I can recommend them (at least for that practice). They've held up for 5 years, they're rugged and protect against rope burn.
