There was this guy a few months ago, who wanted to solo-hike from China to UK with shitloads of electronic equipment (like three laptops, four cameras etc) and no prior experience whatsoever. Apparently he got some sponsors and was going to stream/liveblog along the way.

Did he managed to start his journey? Anyone recall his name?
