We went out to the countryside and woodland, I had my 6D Maglite and she had some headband torch she bought from Tesco. Because I am bigger, stronger and experienced I carry near enough everything, we walk 15 minutes into the woods and start setting up a hammock (one rated for 200kg so it doesn't rip with us in it).
She is still into the idea and then suddenly she starts being really jumpy, I have no idea what is going on with her.
"Anon I'm scared, I think someone is watching us"
I illuminate the area with my torch and have a short wander around, she starts telling me that they probably got away when I looked around, only the torch illuminates everything forever and I'd see someone running. "Yeah but what if they're wearing camo".
We're 30 minutes from any town/village and 15 minutes into the woods, there's very little change of finding anyone, but she is panicking more.
"Anon I'm scared, I'm going back to the car", but she doesn't know where and the daft bitch left her phone in it.
I tell her she isn't even looking the right direction, some ambient noise happens and she screams and runs off, and of course her head torch batteries are dying, she runs further and her light disappears, I shout she is just running into the woods but she doesn't come back.
After I finish setting up the hammock (I'm not leaving it on the ground to be lost or stolen) I walk in the direction she ran for 5 minutes, no sign of her, I head back to the hammock leaving a light on for her to find me.
I sleep an a few hours later she is poking the tent asking for help, I open the zip and she is covered in mud, turns out she hide under something hiding from nothing for hours crying her eyes out
"Anon I really want to stay somewhere with a shower", I give her wipes, she gets undressed and we sleep for a few more hours and head home
We head home
