what are your favorite places to go /out/?

I'm in the Tampa bay Area and like to go to Myakka and local Preserves but looking for something cooler to do.

I live in Martin, I mostly just visit whatever parks, trails and preserves are nearby. I've always wanted to visit Okeechobee or the Everglades but I've never taken the time. I went snorkeling in the keys once and that was pretty fun.

Back home in Broward for the long weekend. They closed the only park near me that has a hill due to covid.

Volusia here. My outdoors consists of flying. Anyone in the area wants to go up, let me know. If you're willing to pay $50 (almost half of total pay), I'll take you up for an hour, fly to another airport to eat lunch or something.

Lots of good hiking, fishing and 4x4ing in richloam wma and green swamp wma but it is a swamp so be prepared for swamp conditions and outside of hunting season most roads/trails are in poor condition and a capable 4x4 and a winch are a must. Check out the Stewart homestead in green swamp for some spooky shit just watch out for skunkapes

went camping a couple days at kissimmee prairie preserve state park. cant recommend it enough. always lived in tampa so ive never seen anything like those stars. me and my gf were able to see the milky way at night, no telescope or anything. favorite trip ive been on in florida.

I live in Volusia County. Me and my brother once saw a skunk ape in Myakka state park. Blue Springs is a cool place to go, You can do an open water dive down to 50'-0, but the cave goes down to about 100'-0. I generally go down to about 60'-0 but the cave can become crowded during peak season.
