What is the proper way to mercy kill an animal once its been trapped or otherwise? What about when youre not carrying a gun?
I've no stomach for killing, but understand its necessity in some situations. Just want to make sure I do it right. Nobody has ever taught me to do from a hunter's perspective.
I've killed animals with shovels before that my dogs have gotten to/shredded, but I haven't done it with my bare hands..
Please help. If somebody had a video I could refer to, that would be great (visual learner). Sorry if this question is retarded.
