Hey what drink bottle is best when it comes to keeping things cold/warm for the longest?

Ive been looking for reviews but everywhere it just seems to be literal advertisements from people just repeating the marketing on the box.

Would appreciate your input

Buy stainless steel for durability, glass when fragility doesn't matter
Just look for test where there measure how hot the water is after 6h / 12h / 24h

But most likely every bottle from quality manufacturers will be fine

I personally use Tatonka, pic related
my outdoor shop where I bought it said it was the best, never had any complains since

Probably some yeti trash. How often do you really need to keep 16oz of drink cold? Just fucking drink it instead of carrying it around. I swear zoomers need to be sucking on things all the time like a teet

Thermos, Stanley, Esbit.

As mentioned- stainless steel for durability.
Wide mouth is needed for a thermos (cleaning).
Screw down type is best to keep the temperature.

I’ve always just had a Thermos brand because they’re relatively cheap and functional. I’m sure there are less established brands with an edge on them but I’ve never needed better.

I have a Yeti 18oz and a Klean Kanteen 16oz. The Yeti definitely keeps my morning coffee warmer longer.

Do you like the clean canteen overall? Need to get a beverage thing for my gf and was going to do hydro flask, but know that kleankanteen actually gives a shit about the environment

This. Stanley makes an "easy clean" bottle that is still cold after sitting in my parked truck for 8 hours. Two stage lid, so I can actually get a hand inside.
The proper thermos I have from them keeps coffee warm for multiple days. Great for motorbike trips or winter deliveries.

Yeah those are good, the plastic of the lid/glass desintegrates after some time (like a decade or so) but buying a new one every ten years is ok in my book.
A built-in glass is a must-have imo. When you fill a good thermos bottle with boiling water it will be too hot to drink directly from the bottle for at least 6 hours, you really want the glass to let it cool down to a drinkable temperature.

the only differences between vacuum insulated containers is thermal mass and cap size
big caps are less insulated so will transfer heat faster
the contents of larger bottles have more thermal mass and will stay at temperature for longer

clean canteen definitely has the best bang for your buck. I bought a 32oz one and it was about $20 cheaper than a Yeti.
As for quality I can't really say because this is all I've used.

zojirushi is the best one at doing this of all time, the ones with the flip cap have a fragile cap (the bottle itself is fine but the cap assembly can break from falling onto stone/concrete from waist height)

I poured hot coffee into it and 10 hours in it's still too hot to fucking drink it's too good
