Imagine if people tore down every pre-1950 residential house because they have shitty insulation and wiring. Unless you're about to redevelop the land for some kind of practical use, there isn't really a legitimate reason to tear it down. There's an old tobacco barn with a half-collapsed roof out in the woods on my family's land and we just leave it because......fuck it, it's not in the way.
