Hey guys, I recently got a job that will let me actually spend money on gear and I just got out of a relationship with a homebody so I have time to get /out/. I just need the basics right now - a backpacking tent, a mummy bag, and maybe a camp stove. What are the go-to brands/models for these? I live in California so I don't really need much in terms of insulation or water protection, but I am willing to spend a bit extra for something that will last longer.
